Arguably the elements consuming the most effort on a daily basis, are the Style and Purchasing data. The POs are the life blood: merchandise needs to come in when its expected, and if anything changes, it needs to be known in a timely manner
Style performance and status are a major barometer of how the season is being executed. The Style Book is where this information is viewed.
Reviewing this data is time consuming and will take up much of the merchants day. For this reason there are many exception reports available to make best use of those efforts: What is late, what is below sales or profit targets, when is it time to mark down a style, and so on.
There are times when buyers need custom reminders. Upon reviewing Styles and PO’s, it is quite common for something to trigger a review in the future. Example: Remind me in 3 days to follow up with a vendor on when a backorder will be ready, revisit a style/color in 2 weeks to see if I should cancel the re-order, etc
It is with this in mind that we developed reminders, eliminating the yellow post-its that are cluttering up your desktop.
Purchase Order Review Process
At any time during the life cycle of an order, the user has the option of adding a note and date to the PO. If a note exists, another separate note may be added, or one can be edited

The request for creating a note, presents with the following screen. It consists of a note section, a date on which the notes are to be reviewed and the priority of the request

The PO Dashboard, as well as the PO Reports menu, will indicate all PO Notes which are due, or past due, their review dates.
The circle link on the left is the PO number. Clicking it will take the user to the PO for review, where a new note or adjustment can be made for later follow up.

Style Review Process
A similar set of functionalities exist for styles. Essentially involving a review process, a setting of dates, and comments. Once in the Style Book, the Style Page will display the following information: The last date of review, and the upcoming date. To indicate that the style has been reviewed, click on the Review style button where notes can be maintained and a new review date set. To merely delay the review date, click on the review snooze and the prompt will request a delay period.

This screen allows the entry of a new review date, and notes.

Finally, the Style Due for Review output, available on the Style Dashboard or from the Style Book Menu. (Note: Clicking the Style # will take the user into the Style Book and the corresponding page)

Calendar View
The calendar view allows the user to view all alerts and reminders for POs and Styles, in a time line format. This calendar is updated by the corresponding transactions. That list can be seen in the screen below, on the left hand side.
Clicking on the calendar entry will take the user to the detail page for that transaction to review and/or edit.
